Roger de Pins governed the Hospitallers on Rhodes for a decade in the mid-fourteenth century.

Life and service to the Order
His mastership followed a period of pressure to move the Order's seat; Rhodes remained its centre under him.
Rhodes provided the Order with a new island headquarters after its departure from the Holy Land. Its masters balanced hospitaller service, maritime defence and the government of a fortified Mediterranean state.
